Priclo helps UK shoppers answer one simple question: is this actually a good price?

Why we're building it

Online shopping is full of discounts that aren't really discounts. Products are shown against inflated "was" prices, sales run for weeks, and the same item can cost very different amounts depending on where you look and how much delivery adds.

We think shoppers deserve better information. So instead of repeating a retailer's claimed saving, Priclo records what products actually cost over time, compares retailers on the total price you'd pay, and gives a plain-English verdict, including telling you when it's better to wait.

What Priclo does

• Compares prices for the same product across UK retailers, including delivery.
• Tracks price history so you can see the real average and lowest price.
• Rates deals using clear, published rules. See how.
• Publishes buying guides to help you choose the right product, not just the cheapest one. Read our guides.

We're starting with tech and home appliances. Live price comparisons are rolling out in stages, and we add products once we have enough real price data to rate them fairly.

What we don't do

• We don't sell products, take payments or hold stock. You always buy directly from the retailer.
• We don't let retailers pay for better ratings.
• We don't sell or share personal data.

How Priclo is funded

Priclo is free to use. When you click through to a retailer and buy something, we may earn a small commission from that retailer at no extra cost to you. This is how we pay for the site. Read our affiliate disclosure.
