Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Priclo collects, why, and what rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Priclo (priclo.uk) is operated by Yanglv Huang, who is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at any time at privacy@priclo.uk.

What we collect and why

• Messages you send us: if you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
• Website analytics: we use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics to count page views and understand which pages are useful. This does not identify you personally.
• Security logs: our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP addresses to keep the site secure and prevent abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
• Outbound clicks: when you click through to a retailer, we may record which page and retailer were clicked, without identifying you, so we can measure which pages are useful.
• Price alerts (when launched): if you choose to set a price alert, we will collect your email address, the product and your target price, and use them only to send the alerts you asked for. Legal basis: your consent, which you will confirm by clicking a link in a confirmation email. We'll update this policy before this feature goes live.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

Cookies

Priclo itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies. When you click an affiliate link, the affiliate network (such as Awin) or the retailer may set cookies on their own websites to record that you came from Priclo. Those cookies are covered by their own privacy policies. See our affiliate disclosure.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of service providers to run Priclo. They process data on our behalf and only under our instructions:

• Website hosting, security and analytics: Cloudflare, Inc.
• Email: our email hosting and delivery providers.

Priclo is operated from outside the UK, and some of our providers process data outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or UK adequacy regulations.

How long we keep data

• Emails you send us: up to 24 months.
• Security logs: in line with our hosting provider's standard retention.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, email privacy@priclo.uk. We will respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Children

Priclo is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
